Resize images

Resize JPG, PNG and WebP images by width or height. Keep aspect ratios or set both dimensions, then download your results locally.

Choose images

JPG, static 8-bit PNG and WebP. Up to 20 images, 25 MB and 16 MP each; 100 MB combined.

Settings

With aspect ratio locked, images are resized proportionally. Unlocking may distort them. Enlarging an image does not add real detail.

For JPEG and WebP. PNG is re-encoded losslessly and ignores this slider. A smaller file is not guaranteed.

Re-encoded JPEG/WebP files may lose detail. Metadata and colour profiles are not preserved; animated files and 16-bit PNG are rejected. Originals are unchanged.

How it works

  1. Choose your images and set the target width or height.
  2. Keep aspect ratio locked for proportional resizing, or unlock it to set both dimensions.
  3. Choose an output format, process the images and download the results.

A practical example

Resize landscape and portrait photos to a width of 1200 pixels. With aspect ratio locked, each image gets the appropriate height.

Supported files and limits

Static JPG, 8-bit PNG and WebP. Up to 20 images, 25 MB and 16 megapixels each, 100 MB combined. Animated images and 16-bit PNG are rejected. Re-encoding does not retain metadata or colour profiles. Your original files are unchanged. Output dimensions are subject to the tool’s pixel and memory limits.

Frequently asked questions

Can I resize a batch with different aspect ratios?

Yes. With proportions locked, the chosen width or height is applied and the other dimension is calculated for each image.

Does enlarging add detail?

No. Enlarging creates more pixels but cannot recover real image detail. Unlocking proportions can distort the image.
